Start teaching freediving
The AIDA Instructor course is the professional-level program for experienced freedivers who want to teach. You'll learn the full AIDA educational system and get real practice teaching real students — in the classroom, in confined water and in the open water — before you're evaluated and certified to run your own courses anywhere in the world.

Standards & teaching theory
AIDA educational system, course standards, risk management and how to run a safe class. Water skills assessment.

Practice teaching — confined water
Deliver theory presentations and confined-water sessions under supervision, with structured feedback after each session.

What do I need before starting?
AIDA 4 Master Freediver certification (or a crossover evaluation), a First Aid/CPR certificate within the last two years, and solid in-water experience.
What can I teach after certifying?
AIDA 1, 2 and 3 courses, anywhere in the world under AIDA's system.
Can I go straight from AIDA 4 to Instructor?
Yes, though prior Assistant Instructor experience helps. Talk to us before booking if you're unsure you're ready.
