Book SDIWhat Enriched Air Nitrox actually involves
A one-day theory specialty that teaches you to dive safely with enriched air mixes (up to 40% oxygen). No additional in-water training required if you already hold Open Water — just theory, an exam, and a practical analyzing session. The benefits last for the rest of your diving life.
Why every diver should learn nitrox
Nitrox is, without exaggeration, the single most useful specialty in recreational diving. With 32% oxygen instead of air's 21%, your no-decompression bottom time at 25 m roughly doubles, your surface intervals shrink, and you'll feel less tired after a day of diving. Every multi-day trip and every liveaboard becomes more enjoyable. The certification is for life, the surcharge per fill is small, and the upside is enormous.

FAQ
Do I need to do dives for this course?
No — Nitrox is a theory-only specialty for divers who already hold Open Water or higher. You can complete it in a single morning.
How much extra do nitrox fills cost?
We charge a €8 surcharge per nitrox tank vs. an air tank. On a typical day of 2 dives, that's €16 — usually paid back in extra bottom time within the first dive.
Can I dive the same day I get certified?
Absolutely. We can add a 2-dive boat trip the same afternoon or next morning for €50 (+ €10 equipment rental + €8 per nitrox fill). Best way to feel the difference immediately.
