Why go advanced?
Open Water gives you the keys to the underwater world. Advanced gives you the map. Most of the Red Sea's most spectacular dive sites — the deep walls, the wrecks, the night spectacle of hunting moray eels — sit just beyond the 18-metre Open Water limit. Two days of focused diving with an instructor opens up all of it, and you'll come out a notably better diver in the process.
Junior Advanced — what changes with age

A Junior Advanced certification upgrades automatically to full Advanced Open Water Diver at 15 — no extra course, no extra fee. The training and the price are identical at every age; only the depth limit and the buddy rule differ.

About PADI Advanced Open Water Diver.
How soon after my Open Water can I do this?
Immediately. Many of our students do Open Water Monday-Wednesday, then Advanced Thursday-Friday — you'll be back in the water before any rust forms.
Do I need to have done a refresher?
If your last dive was within the last 12 months, no. Beyond that, we'll start with a relaxed refresher dive (around €40) to make sure you're comfortable.
Will I see anything different than on Open Water?
Yes — dramatically. The 18-30 m zone holds the schooling fish, the larger pelagics, the wrecks, and the most colourful soft corals. It's where Red Sea diving really starts.
