    Morning

    Welcome and gear

    We meet the family at the dive base. The instructor introduces themselves, shows the equipment, and lets the child try it on dry land first.

  2. 2
    Late morning

    Pool-style dive

    In sheltered shallow water, the child takes their first breaths underwater under the close 1:1 supervision of the instructor. Maximum depth 2 metres. We play, point at fish, and never push past comfort.

About PADI Bubblemaker (Kids 8-10).

Is this safe for an 8-year-old?

Yes — Bubblemaker is the world's most established kids' intro program, designed by PADI and SSI specifically for this age. Maximum depth is 2 metres, ratio is 1:1 or 1:2, equipment is sized for children, and the entire experience is play-based.

What if my child is scared?

Then we don't push. We slow down, swap to snorkeling, or end the session early. There is zero pressure.
