What PADI Tec 50 actually involves
The final rung of the PADI Tec Deep Diver pathway and a full technical qualification. Tec 50 certifies you to plan and run decompression dives to 50 metres using two deco gases up to 100% oxygen — the depth and gas skills that open the Red Sea's signature deep wrecks and walls. Four training dives with a technical instructor, small ratios, and all twinsets, stages and gases included.

Planning decompression with two gases, oxygen-exposure and CNS tracking, and managing multiple stage cylinders. Confined session drilling dual gas switches, stage rotation and failure response.

Training dives 1 & 2

What can I do with a Tec 50 certification?
You're certified to plan and conduct decompression dives to 50 m using two deco gases up to pure oxygen — independently, with a qualified team. It unlocks most of the Red Sea's deep wrecks and walls and is the prerequisite for trimix training.
Is Tec 50 the end of the ladder?
It's the top of the Tec Deep (air/nitrox) pathway. Beyond it lies helium-based trimix diving — our Tec Trimix 65 course — for depths past 50 m without the effects of narcosis.
