Shore Diving
No boat schedule. No group to wait for. Just you, the reef, and your own timeline. Walk in when you're ready — Hurghada's house reefs start producing marine life the moment you're waist-deep.

Your reef, your rules.
Boat trips are great — but they run on a schedule. You wake at 06:30, wait at the marina, dive when the boat says dive, and surface when everyone else does. Shore diving is the opposite. We're open from 07:30 to 18:00. Walk in at 08:00 for the morning calm, or at 15:00 for the afternoon golden light. Do one dive or three. Take a long surface interval for a big lunch and a nap. Nobody is waiting on the boat for you. Our Hurghada shore entry gives you direct access to some genuinely excellent diving. The highlight is the Excalibur — a steel cargo wreck sitting upright at 18–22 m, a short swim from the shore. Thick with glassfish, lionfish, and resident morays, it's one of the best shore-accessible wrecks on the Red Sea coast and diveble on a single Open Water certification. Between dives, Abu Hashish reef and Grand Coral are right there — coral gardens, turtles, and reef life without going anywhere near a boat.
Who is shore diving for?
Certified divers staying nearby who want maximum dives for minimum faff. People who've already done a boat trip and want an afternoon second session. Photographers who need to control their own time underwater. Divers with early-morning or late-afternoon plans who can't commit to a full boat day. Basically anyone who'd rather be in the water than on a minibus.

FAQ
Do I need to be with a guide?
Yes — shore dives at our base are guided by one of our divemasters. Max 1:4 ratio so you still get proper personal attention, not a cattle herd.
Can I do more than 2 dives in a day?
Yes. Each additional dive beyond two is €35. Talk to us at the base — we'll plan the surface intervals properly around your nitrogen load.
What if conditions are bad?
Shore diving is more weather-resilient than boat trips — we're in a sheltered bay. If the swell or visibility makes it genuinely not worth it, we'll tell you honestly before you kit up and not charge you.
Can I bring my own gear?
Absolutely — that's €10 off. BYO everything and the dive is €40 for one, €60 for two with lunch. Use our tanks and weights at no extra charge.
Is lunch actually included in the 2-dive deal?
Yes. A proper hot meal on the terrace — not a sandwich. Egyptian and international options, same food the instructors eat. Book the 2-dive package and it's included, full stop.
Dive sites you may visit
Site choice depends on the day's wind, swell, and your group's level.
Abu Hashish Lagoon
A protected sandy lagoon inside the Abu Hashish reef system — flat, calm, and packed with critters. Our favourite spot for buoyancy training and macro photography.
Abu Hashish
A sprawling reef system south of Hurghada with multiple dive profiles in one location — wall, sandy slope, lagoon, and seagrass beds where turtles graze and dugongs occasionally appear.
Excalibur Wreck
A steel cargo vessel resting upright on a sandy bottom at 18–22 m — ideal for Open Water and Advanced divers alike. Minutes from the Hurghada shore, with dense fish life colonising every surface.
Grand Coral
An expansive offshore reef plateau with multiple coral heads, schooling fish, and reliable visibility. A favourite second dive on day-trips north.
